Welcome to Thaicoon & Sushi Bar, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Atlanta at 1799 Briarcliff Rd NE. This delightful establishment marries the vibrant flavors of Thai cuisine with the artful presentation of Japanese sushi, offering guests a culinary experience like no other. With a focus on quality ingredients and meticulous preparation, Thaicoon stands out among the bustling food scene of Atlanta.

As you step inside, you’re greeted by a tranquil ambiance that invites you to unwind. The decor is a subtle blend of natural hues that enhances the serene dining experience. Reviews by patrons highlight not only the deliciousness of the dishes but also the warm and attentive service. One guest, Mark R., raves, “This is without a doubt the tastiest and most beautifully presented sashimi in Atlanta!” His enthusiasm captures the essence of what Thaicoon aims to deliver.

The menu is a feast for the senses, offering a variety of enticing options. From their signature Four Friends entrée to the classic Pad Thai, there’s something to satisfy all palates. If sushi is your passion, you’ll appreciate the rich selections like the Sashimi Dinner or the innovative Bear Lovers Roll. Diners like Hannah S. have shared their delight in the generous roll sizes and freshness of the ingredients, saying, “Everything was delicious!”

Another highlight comes from customer Matt W., who encourages diners to experience the vibrancy of sitting at the king sushi bar. He notes, “It provides better energy and a more transportive experience.” This intimate setting is perfect for a date night, complemented by their range of beverages from soothing hot tea to celebratory Saki shots.

As for standout dishes, I recommend trying the spicy calamari with its zesty sauce, which has garnered praise from multiple visitors. However, some dishes, such as the panang curry, may lean on the sweeter side, as noted by RNelle S., so it’s wise to inquire about flavors if you prefer something less sweet.

With its convenient location, exceptional service, and a menu that boasts both traditional and creative dishes, Thaicoon & Sushi Bar is not just a meal; it's a culinary journey worth embarking on time and again. Whether dining in with a group, enjoying a quiet moment at the sushi bar, or taking out to savor at home, this restaurant promises an unforgettable experience in Atlanta's diverse dining landscape.

This place was so cute and everything was delicious. Our server was so sweet and very attentive. Our food came out so quick and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The sauce on the spicy calamari was so good. The rolls were so much bigger than we expected. I will definitely be back.

This is a case of-Don't judge a book by its cover. Located within an unassuming Kroger parking lot off Briarcliff Road, and displayed to you with red neon letters, this place defines inner beauty. It's tranquil, calming and clean. It offers Japanese and Thai, extensively off both menus. The sushi and nigiri is my personal favorite in the city. Hearty portions and quality execution is provided on every single occasion. Date tip-Sit at the king sushi bar. It provides better energy and a more transportive experience. Favorites: Apps-Coconut cream soup and Calamari. Sushi-Bear Lovers Roll. Nigiri-Unagi(eel). Sip some hot tea together on a chill, low key date or take Saki shots together. It's good for both.

I loved the ambiance! Colors were natural and neutral, inviting you into calm as soon as you walk in. Be aware they're closed everyday between2:39 and 5pm so you know they're good! We also ate "cheese sticks"! Plating and service were A-1 I hope to go back at night and try the cockatiel because the prices were right where they should be!

One of the best Thai restaurants in Cobb. The food quality is wonderful as is the service. We attended a birthday party which was hosted in this side space that was accommodating and comfortable. I highly recommend this place for a good ethnic meal priced right. Pad Thai and sushi are great selections.

It's a nice restaurant inside, and felt very spacious. We came in on a Saturday night and it wasn't super busy, but our waiter was good. I thought the Sashimi starter was solid and really good value, and the curry was nice, and a generous portion, although not my favorite Thai. Fries were awesome though!

Still as amazing as years ago when first discovered! The green chicken curry is outstanding! The sushi AMAZING! Had my birthday here on a Thursday night and it was absolutely perfect! Drinks spot on, service attentive, and no extra fees for my party of 12. Will (as always) definitely be back for more soon!!!

Very good sushi! Reasonable prices and STELLAR service! The cucumber salad was so refreshing and delicious! I had the shrimp tempura rolls (basic I know but good nevertheless) and my friend ordered the roll with the mango on it. Both were full of flavor and great portions.
